No way. Setting aside the stars, the Raptors have way more talent. I've been on this train all year. I called them a title contender months ago and said the Rockets were a "everything needs to break right to be a contender" team.

Position by position they are better at basically every spot. Maybe 1 or 2 spots you could argue for, but if you were offering me up their team minus Kawhi for our team minus Harden, as much as I'd hate to trade away Tucker, I'd do that without even hesitating.

Right, if Chris Paul was still CP3 then it's a different argument. He's not though. He's a good player now, not an elite player.

Sure, but Morey would melt trying to get rid of the defenders and people who can rebound.

Amen. Our front court needs some love, desperately. Paul-Gordon-Harden (+Rivers) is probably the strongest backcourt in the league (despite the current emotions). The front court, meanwhile is probably bottom 10 (with all due respect to PJ Tucker, who keeps it from being bottom 3.)

So you would have traded supporting casts when the rockets tied golden state 2-2 and were beating them in game 5 until durant got hurt? Or when the raptors were down 2-0 to the bucks?

    I'm calling major BS here

No deal without Rockets legends Jeremy Lin and Kyle Lowry.

Here was me saying they might be better than us before CP3 decline was known:
    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...-update-done-deal.292498/page-6#post-11892109

Here was me saying they were real contenders and we weren't in February:
    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/is-the-east-better-than-the-west.296375/#post-12226632

Even when we were playing Golden State tough in that round I was having conversations with people on this board via twitter where I said I didn't think Golden State was even our most difficult opponent.

I've been on the East all season.

Siakam is better than any Rocket not named Harden. Lowry is probably better than CP3 at this point. Danny Green is at least comparable to Austin Rivers. They are more talented.

Morey gives us players only capable of catching ball from Harden at corner.

    Blame this on Morey.

first, Raptors won't trade their players coz that team is playing finals and is one game away for championship.
second, Morey won't trade for any raptors players except for Kawhi coz Morey don't like those players, they are too tall.

If he's allowed to run his offense and defense, this would be all we would need.

One of the reasons why certain teams could lose major stars and still keep on winning is because they run smart offenses and defenses. The Raptors, for example, didn't need Kawhi to win regular season games because of how they play. Everyone plays a part there that maximizes their abilities. This doesn't mean that they would be on the verge of winning a championship without Kawhi, of course.

I think harden is stronger than Kawhii, Raptors got Paul gasol and a strong power forward, Ibaka is also great. But morey does not try to get them. It is morey fault. We got Faried, but we benched him.
All positions of Raptors are strong.
Tucker just can defence, caplea disappeared vs warriors. Gordon is ok. but we still need 4 and 5 positions can get more points.

How could the answer be anything other than yes? The Raptors kept winning without Kawhi, meanwhile, our scrubs had to have Harden put up 36ppg to get us out of the 14th all the way to 4th place, with a shot at 2nd place. I mean, if Harden had gotten hurt for a long time the Lakers would have had a better record.
