It has to have as high or higher probability than Parsons posting 9.5/4.8/2.1/0.5.

So a 1st year player with no summer league, no training camp, and no consistent playing time for the Rockets is already considered a bust?

    Unbelievable....

If that post was aimed at me I truly do not understand it. Admittedly I thought Parsons had no chance of making the roster, but I soon saw the light.

My post was a general statement to all the "trade Morris - he's a bust" posts that's been going around lately.

So a 2nd round pick with no summer league, no training camp, got the same oppotunity for playing time as everyone else got a starting spot and was in the running for ROY????

    Unbelievable.....

Some players get it faster than others. That doesn't make Morris a bust. And you can't compare Parson's playing time to Morris'. Parsons didn't always play well and his shooting was horrific, but he was allowed to play through those things and build his confidence. Morris wasn't given the same opportunity.

I'm willing to give him a chance and see what he can do instead of throwing him under the bus after 1 year.

At the beginning of the season, each player was given the opportunity to get PT. Parsons excelled, Morris didn't. At 22 Morris should at least have a set skill whether it be scoring, defense, etc. He was consistent in nothing.

I have been a life long UK fan.

I watched every game he played at UK, and while he had some good games, he thinks he is Derrick Rose in that he will attempt 15 shots a game in the pros. He turns it over A LOT, doesnt have much range, and plays out of control at times.

    Think Weestbrook but without a mid-range j.

    same question,
what make you believe Morris will get his playing time this season? still behind Parsons/Bud/PP/Scola/and maybe Donuts and others

this thread is not to argue weather Morris considered a bust already. Rockets likes Teague and might take him at #16 when he could be had in the 20s; and knowing that Morris will not get significant playing time on this team, would you trade Morris for a late 1st rd. pick to take Teaque and keep the #16 for others?

A first year player has piss poor attitude and complains about going to DLeague. A first year player who talked after the season about playing for another team.

I still hope Morris might pan out as a six man type.. Teague seems a little to Flynnish for me to want to invest in

I don't know. I'm not high on Teaque. But I'm not high on Morris. So it wouldn't matter.

this is pretty much how i feel. Now, if you wanted to trade Morris for a pick to take someone like a Moe Harkless (a real SF) ...now we're talking.
