Right now, I wouldn't trade anyone for anyone. This current group has talent, athleticism and unbelievable chemistry. I haven't seen the Rockets play this well in nearly a decade. Give the current group a shot in the playoffs, then worry about trades later.

I love Mobley, but not to the point where I become stupid.

James fits this team a helluva lot better.

Leaving aside salaries I would take Mobley over James and would start Mobley at 2 and use Wesley to back up Sura.

James has been on a tear lateley but I think Mobley's been better career wise and even though he's known for O he's quite good at D.

That given I would agree if this offer came up right now I'm not sure I would have to think long and hard about it as others have noted the team chemistry is great and as long as James is putting up big numbers you want to ride him as long as you can.

Did Cuttino somehow transform into a point guard? Of course I'm coming off an emotional high from his 3pt'er late in the 4th yesterday, but there are scant few pg's in the NBA I'd trade him for now, save Nash and Kidd. He's averageing 17 a game in limited minutes!

Would I change this team right now? No freakin way.

Is Mobley better? Yep. But there is only one ball, and people need to know their role, gibrone.

Do I miss Mobley? Hell yea. I love Cat.

Just remember: I'm Mike James, B****!

There's no point to discuss trades, we have lot of more time to kill during offseason to talk all kinds of trade and personnel scenarios.

Personally, I like Mike James better. Has a great shot, can run and drive, has court vision and passing ability, most of time played under control.

Man, the people that continue to bring the former players up (and post polls about them) are really wasting bandwidth;)

But since it was done anyways, I voted!:p And it seems like the people have OVERWHELMINGLY spoken.

... if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

When we got Yao, everything changed. Aside from whether Yao has the mindset he needs, he HAS the mind. Even though the Cat is a gym rat, and plays with all his heart, and is so quick, he doesn't have a high BB IQ, nor did Francis or Griffin. Once we got Yao, it was only a matter of time before we needed to get guys who were more intelligent, and understood the game better, in order to make full use of Yao on a team. Once we got Yao, the Cat no longer fit, unfortunately. But, he sure was an amazing 2nd round pick.

James is a better fit for us. Mobley needs a lot of shots and his shot selection was never very good.

James is a more controlled player that has good ball handling and play making skills. He is doing a great job in playing off of Yao and TMac, while I'm sure we would see Mobley trying to create on his own.

Wow! Is that poll legit, or is Keeley messing with the results again? :D

I can't believe that's true. I love Cat, but watching Mike James play for the first time yesterday was awesome. Everything right now is clicking, so I wouldn't wanna mess it up with a guy with Cat's mentality. So, no. I would like to see Cat resign here, however.
