On NBA.com there are talks of splitting the NY Knicks up. I havent read the article or anything, but the first thing that came to mind was Houston's big chase for Melo. Would you trade K Lo plus pieces for a shot at Melo? (I Would) Questions, Thoughts, Concerns, all welcomed.
If we can get a brute PF in which offensive rebounding is his strong suit....Then I may take a crap at him
Absolutely not. Lowry makes his teammates better, Melo does not. What good is it attracting other star players if they never see the ball and become ineffective?
Indeed you do have to, no questions. If this is a real trade opportunity you don't pass up a Melo. That said I am not a huge fan of the man, I have my reasons but I will concede that you don't wait for the next all star to come along. Daryl needs to be on phone now.
Not going to happen, the Knicks will hold onto Anthony over anyone else on the team. Having said that, yes I would deal Lowry and others for Anthony. Morey has shown the ability to identify talent at the point guard position.
I think Melo would be on suicide watch if he were traded from his Knickerbockers.... He b****ed so hard to get there... How's our therapists/counselors compared to NY??
People would rather have Lowry over one of the best scorers in the world and game changers in the world? lol...
They arent trading melo, but youd have to be a moron not to make that trade. Melo would be worth trading parsons and lowry easy...but not going to happen...and they are not strong in PG...they are actually extremely week and would prob move everyone not named melo to acquire a PG. I see amare being offered for d will personally.
No. Melo is the most overrated player in all of the NBA. I'll take a two years younger Lowry on a much better contract easily.
Hahah thanks for the good laugh Funny that Morey is allowed to go after all the no defense selfish players in Melo, Amare, Bosh and whoever else. Rather go for a monster like Al Jefferson, Millsap or Aldridge.
LOL knowing DM he'd probably do it. But to me Melo is a loser. Sure he brings it in the playoffs, but Tmac also brought it in the playoffs, and it never really got us anywhere.
Denver's record after Melo trade: 28-12. He's definitely a game changer, but not in the way you think LOL. :
