So Lin is overrated because of his 25 game sample size from last year. Lillard is the next great point guard after playing well in his first 6 out of 8 games?

The results of the poll are amazing. For one, Portland would never do this. Wouldn't even consider it. And for two, they have good reason. In a couple of years you'll know why... If we really did have a deal in place to move up to five and select him, that's a huge blow because that could have been huge. I'm not saying Lin won't be good, because I think he will be, but not as good as Lillard.

Oh yeah, Lillard is so good that even with an all-star in Aldridge, the Blazers still can't get above 500. PGs who score first and pass second cost their team more than they help them.

I didn't realize you can straight up run caps and personal attacks on this site.

    Thanks for your input anyway.

yeah tell that to tony parker and the spurs.
Lillard is way better than lin, and he would be for some years, just get over it.

Amazing how people thought that Lin is better than Lillard just few months ago and comparing Lin and Lillard was like comparing Nick Young to Michael Jordan.

They probably expected some Linsanity run averaging 25 and 9 before they realized how average Lin is. Overrated.

Lol @ the poll results. Lillard even right now is way ahead of Lin and a nearly complete player, and he's still young with tons of upside. Bonafide all-star and will be one of the best PGs in the league for years. Portland would laugh about this deal.

And this is not only about his first games, he has been beasting it in NCAA for years.

Probably still too early to tell, I'll give it an entire season. But as of now, Lillard is playing way better than our point guard. Not sure if he'll get there but he has the potential to be a star. Very very impressive.

Lillard is looking like he's going to be the obvious choice for rookie of the year unless Anthony Davis REALLY picks it up. Lillard is looking amazing. He's on my fantasy team and he hasn't had a bad game all season.

Lillard is averaging 19pts, 6 assists per game after his first 9 games as a pro. And he's shooting 39% from three point range. He could be a superstar in the making. It's hard to imagine how he could have gotten off to a better start. No way Portland trades this guy.

Do you think they would trade Lin for Lillard? Teams wouldnt even give up the Ramon Sessions, DJ Augustin types.

I was watching the game on nbatv. it seem like Jeremy lin was containing Lillard throughout the game, (even the commentators comment on it) until BATUM (nightmare) started dropping 3 pointers on us. However we were responding with our own offensive at least .

Once TD came that's when Lillard started on his roll.

    Seems like that to me.

Thread is silly and false starting from this very first post.

The Kings straight-up rejected Morey's offer for the number 5 pick. We were all following this closely all the way up through draft night. Weren't you?

What do you expect the man to do at that point? Say pretty please? Come on, I'll be your best friend? Start publicly sobbing until they relent?

This isn't even ancient history being rehashed. This was just this last summer

Daryl Morey offered Lowry and then some, and Sacramento still said no. Because they're the Kings, and their organization is a disgrace, and they make bad decisions like that all the time.

I don't know what more you'd want from Morey or what the purpose of this thread is, since it's based on an outright lie.
