While this thread is somewhat preposterous, it's unfair to Rafer to compare his season stats with anyone right now. The difference in his performance in 2007 versus 2008 is like night and day ... I believe lately he's been shooting like 44% from the field and 38% from 3 over the past couple of months.
well, i love rafer and he is playing outa his mind now, he has the ability to be a nice PG but not the top 5 limited by his size and strength. I admit NASH,Deron, Cp3 and Kidd are better overall, but guys you have to take other things into consideration. Rafer has been here for years, he has not only the best command of passing to YAO but also comprehending the offense systems pretty well. will yao at the sideline, all we should expect is getting more accustomed to the system and do this all over again as soon as next season starts. If you change you PG,then you have to go through all the adjustment process again and we don't know what the outcome would be. why destroy the chemistry?
