This is what I was thinking. I fell in love with the man during the Finals. If he was young, I would do it in a heartbeat. I don't think Kmart is a more talented scorer, I think he hasn't had the chance to play with someone like Dirk and thus has more shot opportunities. Don't get me wrong, Kmart is an awesome scorer, but he can't close. On the other hand if the defense wasn't focused on him maybe he would have more opportunities like Terry. You never know.
If they were the same age, probably. They are very similar, but Terry has the swagger that Martin doesn't have.
Not at this point in their respective careers. I would trade Martin for a mid 20s version of Jason Terry. I know Martin has the statistical edge, but Terry always impressed me when he was with the Hawks.

This is the thread that inevitably happens after a basketball team wins something meaningful. It doesn't have to happen but it does. Some part of your brain is betraying you by telling you that if we acquire Jason Terry, we will also win a championship. This phenomenon doesn't just happen with players. Coaches too.
