Jesus Christ.....I did not say trade Harden for Melo.

I said, if we get Melo would you entertain the idea of trading Harden (not for Lebron or Durant...not going to happen) to get a solid 4 (Love) and a legit starting PG or a defensive wing or is he untradable right now?

    I....will...say...it....again

    Postseason is all that matters.
Melo has proven under good coaching to abide and was able to take den far.

What you are talking about is a stretch where harden was playing well in the regular season. ..

Even saying the term he is the best 2 in the league does not hold any value for me.
Every one who was a top 2 guard is old now.
It's like saying the bulls are good because of their record when we already know the east sucks.

You could be the best RS player ever, but if you can't bring it in the PS you are useless.

Quit gumming up the forum with this nonsense.

You are not going to convince anyone who isn't a total moron that 6 games is a representitive sample of all future playoff performance.

Harden is not getting traded under any realistic circumstance. Stop wasting everyone's time trying to justify a r****ded position.

No way. Who is better than James Harden? Are they available?
    Lebron- no
    Durant- no
    Griffin- no

Harden is a total one way player right now but I really believe he has the ability to be at least average on defense. He just has to zone in.

Yeah and the regular season is a poor overall diagnostic of post season potential. That's why we don't have a 1 seed vs. a 2 seed in each conference this post season.

To the people who keep saying the post season is different than the regular season ask yourself how many times an 8 seed has gone on to win a ring? How about a 7 seed? Maybe 6 seed? Now compare that to a 1 or 2 seed.

So we want to trade a guy who's 24, and dropped 27/5/6 in the playoffs because he had a few poor shooting games?

Bad defense is coachable. And there are plenty of guys who need to be coached defense on this team other than Harden. I would only take about 4 guys in this league over Harden at this point in time.

Durant was 1-7 in the first half last night, maybe he should go to.

I bet you knick fans say the same and exaggerate what melo can do.
Difference is these players actually go out and do it.
You guys will only give up harden for durant?
What makes you think he is on that level of he does not even have qualities of a player like Westbrook?

Exactly! Durant has had more than his fair share of awful shooting games in these playoffs, so much so that OKC's paper called him Unreliable. And he's the freaking MVP! lol

LOF is on full attack mode right now.

It's mind blowing how some people want to trade top 5 player just because he is bad on the defensive end, We are damn lucky to have James Harden, the guy is an up and coming superstar and future top 3 player in the league for the next 5 to 6 years, good defense could be forced by good coaching staff, despite having dumbass like Mchale who literally have no playbook or game offensive plans he was still able to flourish under his system.

If we had wbrook you guys would class he's the top 3 pg in the league. Unfortunately that's the way homers think. no one is untouchable except Dwight, and that's how it should be.

Either trade harden for a star. Or if you want to significantly improve the roster then you'll need to bundle persons for a good deal.
Yes I am for the build chemistry together plan but since we are keeping the same coach then that approach is long dead.

We currently kill Harden for "Iso Harden", can you imagine how bad it would be if we had someone who is such a ball hog that he marginalizes the best player in the NBA about half the time? We'd absolutely have pitchforks and torches if we had that bricklaying low BBIQ chucker on the team.

Westbrook is basically a version of Harden with the BBIQ of Josh Smith, the shooting ability of Terrence Jones, with better defense and athleticism
