The only reason Luther is deemed lesser then Korver is because he's asked to do ballhandling duties sometimes and that's his weak point.

Korver isn't a ballhandler, he's not better at moving without the ball (although Sloan's system will make him into one), he's not faster then Luther. But yeah he's taller, maybe that's why he's a 3 and Luther is a tweener.

Korver looks like a stud now because he is in Sloan's system, where solid but unspectacular system players excel. Korver should be thanking Jerry Sloan and Jazz management for bringing him there and making him into a viable rotation player in a contending team, instead of rotting away in the rebuilding 76ers.

Korver = system player exceling in a system tailored for players like him = knee jerk casual fans suddenly slobbing his knob

I would, but it's still pretty close. Korver is 1 dimensional, and as much as everyone doubts this, Luther still hasn't reached his ceiling.

My turn, Would you trade Yao Ming for Kevin Garnett?

    I would.

Would you trade T-Mac for Ray Allen?

    I would.

Do you believe all it took was Al Jefferson, scrubs, and a few low draft picks to get them?

    Garnett/Hayes/Deke
    Scola/Landry/Hayes
    Battier/Novak/Snyder
    Allen/Bonzi/Luther
    Rafer/Brooks/James

I thought Korver would be a perfect fit on the Rockets, his innate shooting ability would have spaced up the floor perfectly with Yao working the paint.

Korver>>>> Head in every aspect of the game.

Hellyeah, 3 point shooting wise KK is 3 levels above Head, and that's what Rockets needs anyway. But Utah would never make that deal.

everything you said about korver in sloans system can be said about him in adelman's system. even steve novak has looked great when adelman called plays for him.

luther is asked to play point because he deserves PT but can't defend the 2. korver has size and is at least a decent defender.

also, korver isn't just a great 3pt shooter, he's a great midrange shooter, which is why he excels in sloans system. luther isn't much of a mid range shooter which is why we've seen plays run for novak that luther has never had called for him.

Misconception 1: Mr. Demi Moore is NOT a decent defender. He'd have to play All-Star HOF defense to be considered a decent defender.

Misconception 2: Luther has a good mid range game, he just decided to become a 3 pt specialist. Before he got injured he was passing up 3pt shots and hitting mid range jumpers. And Adelman runs plays for Novak cause that's the only way he gets touches, Luther plays off of the double teams.

Maybe the Jazz can make Head better.

Korver b4 the trade he was playing pretty bad.

    0.396 FG% | 35 3P%.

Novak will look good if you replace him with Korver. He is just a catch and shoot player but is Williams who is playing next to, no Rafer. Just go and ask Kenyon Martin who his doing without Kidd.
