It's truly sad how opposing players start licking their chops when they see Luther Head defending them. Luther does have good hands and is able to get a nice steal here and there but he gets abused regularly trying to defend bigger SGs. Because he utterly lacks PG skills, Head will always struggle mightily on defense.

I didn't say it was funny. I was just pointing out that many of the posters who replied did not even catch it.
Alot of them prolly did, but ignored it like any lame joke. Then again, way too many are actually seriously arguing the merits of trading for Jarrett Jack. Yeah, we have alot of slow witted members.
There is one person he played well defensively against that we could use strategically and that is Deron Williams....Luther played him as tough as anyone....You're right, he has no shot against any SG....A complete defensive ala turnover liability
havent seen enough of jack to know how good he really is. from the few times he's played against the rockets, i can honestly say i dont remember him doing much of anything to us though. as for head, i've seen so many games of him and know that his clutch shooting is pretty valuable. i dont see why he can't just get skip to work with him on his handles everyday. and his defense is a underrated ... but that's not saying that that much. also, he's improved in his penetration and a little bit on passing too. some plays this season had me thinking "wow he's improved some." so ya. i think we can get more for luther honestly. but then again i don't know how good jack is.
