I get your point....not so much game 5 but yes game 6 was one of the strangest sporting moments ive ever seen. Now with that said one could make the argument that atleast Harden was playing in a game 6 in the WCSF while Russy Poo was sitting at home doing his fashion lol.
Westbrook is hot garbage. I'm glad people get to see what I've always known about this guy. Last year it was he has no help when clearly that wasn't true at all. Olidipo is a top 25 player in those league, Sabonis can flat out play. Kanter, while flawed in the defensive end is a scoring and rebounding machine. Adams is one of the 10 best centers in the league. Abrines And McDermott are both certified 3pt shooters. Roberson is one of the best defensive wings in the game. That team was just as stacked as the rockets last year with better defensive players. Russ just doesn't know how to involve anyone and get anyone in rythem. Sure he'll drive and kick for a open shoot or hit Adams on the roll but none of his passes lead to another pass. He plays selfish basketball period it's why KD left. Durant actually made Westbrook look like a top player because KD was good enough for that team to win and overcome russ inefficient offensive brand of ball. Harden is light years ahead of russ. He makes guys better he consistently leads a top rated offense. He scores yearly at the gold standard of 60+% true shooting. He's a true playmaker and knows we're everyone needs to be and will make the pass that leads to they pass. He knows when the ball should stick and when it should move. Harden is a true MVP it's disrespectful to compete russ to him and it really pissed me off when I heard so many ppl say russ was clearly better. Harden can play with other stars, even ones that do what he does (cp3) and they both flourish and get more effective and efficient together. That's why mvps do. Russ gets allstar help and they all get worse. How is that a franchise MVP player?
can't stop people here from drooling over 2 uncontested stat-padding rebounds and 8 less wins, 3 seeds lower, no HCA and truly believing that oladipo is just a scrub
Wouldn't trade Harden for OKC's entire roster (assuming salary worked). Melo is a net zero at best, PG and Adams are the only good players. WB would be awful with CP.
After the sh*tshow that was game 6... how can you fault anybody for questioning Harden's commitment? Keeping in mind that the game 6 collapse was after setting turnover records, after falling apart in previous playoff runs, after Chloe and umpteen instagram hoes, after 'cornerstones' and no team bus, after the lack of defense, after the 'those that matter don't mind and those that mind dont matter' mentality.. Harden did not exactly instill confidence in any objective observer (homers aside...) He's had another phenomenal regular season. He seems to have his head on straight and his priorities in order... I'm glad we didnt make a move and I'm hopeful that we will have a memorable post season.... but we get another game 6 performance... and then we can revisit this thread again at that time....
