Would all the G.S. fans please stop posting these horrible trade ideas. No, Morey isn't going to bail out your team, not happening. No, you can't have a pony and you can't have our good contracts.

thething, ellis is not overpriced. He's a 11 guy because he's 23 and a all star type of player. Not to mention its a flat contract.

I would trade T-mac for him, not Battier.

Golden State is desperate. we might be able to get something for nothing if we are patient.

I would not mind having a look at Brandon Wright.

I find it disappointing than more than 47% would trade for Monta.

    Do not want.

If we give up both Landry and Brooks I want Anthony Randolph in the mix, I don't care if we have to give up a 1st as well. Landry Battier and Brooks for Ellis and a downgrade at pf is not worth it (Landry>Turiaf)

Let me restate my position. I would trade for Ellis, but not anything valuable.

Even then, no. I just don't think he's a long-term valuable asset for any team. He clearly doesn't have his head on straight.

I don't think landry is better than turiaf. Landry is probably a better offensive player, but turiaf is a better defender and shotblocker.Scola is the 4 and turiaf can play 5 with pops, anderson, chuck, and dorsey filling in behind them.

To answer your question i seriously would trade Tracy straight up for both Ellis and Jackson.

With Yao hurt, Monta and Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette do not make sense. Contract wise, or ability wise...

The guys that we could possibly use in the future are Anthony Randolph and Brandan Wright. Maybe Turiaf or Kelenna, who are fairly cheap.

    Stay away from everyone else.

Turiaf at C is undersized just like Chuck Hayes. In fact I'd say Turiaf is a slightly taller but slightly dumber Chuck Hayes. Unfortunately he's making something like double Chuck's salary...he might slightly be better than Hayes at C overall but at Chuck's price I'd rather have Chuck.

Ronny would be nice to have this year though. He is a great shot blocker and can knock down a jumper. He is obviously not close to the Chuckster on D, but he would be a nice guy to have.

    He has an AWESOME attitude...

We already have that attitude in Chuck Hayes. Like I said he's technically an upgrade over Hayes, but not so much that he's twice what we're paying Hayes. Maybe in the pf slot he'd be worth trading for, but at C he's undersized as well.

He would be an upgrade at Center. And an upgrade at back-up C when Yao gets back. Our defense desperately needs a shot blocker, plain and simple.
Chuck Hayes is 6-6. Ronny Turiaf is 6-10 and 250 pounds, and a fantastic shot blocker. He can EASILY play center. He played center, ALLLLLLLL OF LAST YEAR.

We already have that attitude in Chuck Hayes? WTF does that mean? Nonsense...

Uh I just checked and Turiaf's listed 6"10 is with shoes already...his real height is 6'8. Real C's are 6'10 without shoes so yes that still makes him undersized at C. Just having a shotblocker is not reason enough to pay someone 17 million over four years, esp. for a backup C. If all you want is a defensive body get Brian Skinner. He works for the min. and unlike mr Turiaf he actually bangs against his opponent.

What do you mean what do I mean? Turiaf played all of 17 mins on average a game last season. The rest of the time he was reduced to a cheerleader while glued to the bench. I'm saying Chuck Hayes already has our resident cheerleader slot filled.

If we could get Biedrins with Ellis i'm all for it would not mind getting 2 or 3 of their young guys for McGrady.

Biedrins is young averaged a double-double probably just as good as Scola maybe better. Ellis is a SG with PG capabilities fits in a Adelman offense and Randolf is probably too much for a McGrady trade though his value is at an all time high right now. Could not ask for a better long-term back up center because they are rare these days. Give them Dorsey as a throw in. Then they might want to rid themselves of Turiaf with a future 1st kinda like a bad contract with a future 1st for lets say Battier they might do it and Morey might as well he is looking to buy a pick some where.

    Ellis/Biedrins/Randolf/Turiaf/1st
    for
    McGrady/Battier/Dorsey
