Are you serious? Parker better than Chris Paul?

Derrick Rose is not even a top 2 point guard.

To answer the OP's question , I would rather have Brooks.

We can argue back and forth who's better between Martin and Brooks. It doesn't really matter too much because they both play for us and both start. Historically Martin has scored more, and has been the more efficient scorer (for Sacramento).

Chris Paul is better than Tony Parker.

I didn't even think it was debatable.

    100% agree.

Even if you make the case that CP3 has been injured soo has Tony Parker. His numbers are down all across the board this year. I'll take CP3 everytime.

Brooks getting by his man every time sets up the rest of our offense. No one can stay in front of him, and if they sag off he will drain the outside shot, and he has shown he can do it in pressure situations several times this season. That makes up for his deficiencies.

Plus he really advanced this year as far as learning to find the open man when defences collapse on him.

The Mavs series was a coming out party for Hill, but we dont know if that was just a one series thing I would have to see more before taking him over AB. We know what we have in AB, he put up nice number for a whole season plus he might get better. So I'll take a whole season over just one series.

if aaron brooks stays healthy in his career he will be remembered as one of the great rocket point guards.

i really hope he stays with us to win it all.

I don't understand how people are saying that he has better vision than Brooks, the guy has averaged 0.7 APG against the mavs in the serious, 0.7 APG, how the hell this guys has a good vision, could somebody explain that to me ??

    Tough call.

But Hill in his 2nd years is better than AB in his 2nd year. With healthy Yao/Martin/Scola/Ariza, Hill will be a better fit. He has defense and he can shoot. We need more defense than offense for that lineup, plus Hill is not a offensive liability at all.

Hill has a probably the same amount of vision, a little less scoring ability, but Brooks makes him look like DPOY.

    I would prefer Hill.

Brooks creates his own shots. Hill simply feeds off the attention defenses give to Parker, Duncan, and Ginobili (anyone who watched the Dallas series knows that Hill got open shots all series long). I'll take Brooks any day...

Yes! Let's base all our good notions on him after one good playoff series...

    Talent-wise, I see nothing special.

Rose and Westbrook above Nash, Kidd and Rondo? Really? Wow.

What a stupid thread. George hill is playing a hall of famer, who happens to be the best PF ever. Put Aaron Brooks in San Antonio and results would be around the same, except I think Brooks' quickness would be a serious matchup nightmare when paired with Tony Parker.

Yeah that being "better" has gotten him deep in the playoffs, huh?

It wouldnt be the same at all. Pops would bench Brooks for not being able to pass to the post. Hill can do a lot with little.

I still think pairing Martin and Brooks is a horrible idea cause of their defense so I went with Hill. Brooks may be a better scorer but with Yao back you dont need a 20point scorer. Hill is getting better at driving and finishing. He can now make the corner three consistently. Eventually he will learn to shoot from everywhere.
