Rip Hamilton has played 10 years in the NBA, he's 31. Right now he's averaging 25 points. Tracy McGrady has played 12 years in the NBA, he's 30. He hasn't played a single game this season and is in the process of rehab from surgery. Monta and Brooks might have the same age but Brooks was drafted in 2007 while Monta was drafted in 2005. The NBA is grueling to your body over time, it's much more high intense than college basketball. What I'm saying is that your body takes much more damage based on how long you've been in the NBA. Not to mention Monta has already had surgery on a torn ligament in his left ankle. These are all things the organization looks at when a trade proposal is summoned.
did you really try to just say that rip is averaging 25... he's played like 2 games... and is out with an injury... shoot yourself in the toe more.......................................................
20 shots for 22 points and 4 turnovers? No thanks... Like your Corey Maggette love, I just don't get it...
You are an idiot. Montae is FAR better than brooks. Lets take a peak at career stats shall we. Points Per game Brooks has averaged 9.6. Ellis 16.4 Minutes Per Game Brooks has averaged 21.3 Ellis 32.7 Field Goal Percentage Brooks has averaged 41.0 Ellis 48.7 Ellis plays 6 more minutes per game and still turns it overless than Brooks. Ellis>Brooks any day. Only a fool would not make this trade.
I kind of agree on Ellis, but Maggette's actually been really good, and REALLY efficient, this year. He's averaging 16.6 points on 11 shots. There's only 10 players in the league with a better points/shot ratio than that: D. Howard M. Gasol C. Paul N. Hilario G. Oden L. James P. Pierce A. Stoudemire M. Speights
Maybe in the overall sense but we are only comparing him to Brooks. I honestly think that monta would be an excellent compliment to Yao.
Maybe, but only a fool would not take into consideration that the contracts do not match. And only a fool would pay huge money to acquire a PG that can NOT play PG... He is a sixth man of a championship team, at best, imo...
Do you know what, you are 100% correct. I think Maggette would make a nice bench player for us, but to take on his contract we better be getting Anthony Randolph. I think Maggette is a great sixth man, that is payed like a star. No thanks...
I like Ellis offensive game which fits the Rox offense right now...but this kid never plays any kind of defense..but if we can also get Biedrins or Randolph in a package for him, im all for it.

Lol, better for the money? That's a rookie contract, do you think he'll have that forever? Brooks will get paid eventually. I'm not saying that Ellis would be a better fit than Brooks, but Eliis is extremely talented. He did have 11 turnovers the other day though...
Maybe. But I'll sill take him over Brooks. Dude can score and get to the rim almost at will. And I still think he can get better.
