Can't see this as an actual option, but if it were, of course. I love A.J. but his career is on the short side, injuries are occurring more and more, and Luck may be the best QB prospect in years. Isn't Schaub over thirty and doesn't appear to be the long term answer. Frankly, until Kubiak is gone, I don't know if we even have a long term answer. The more I watch the Texans play, I can't even remember what the question was.

If the Colts managed to get the #1 pick we would be giving them the keys to dominate for a few more seasons but if they got Luck they would have another 10+ seasons of kicking our ass instead of just 2-3. I think it would take more than a 30 year old receiver to get him though, even if it is AJ.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to trade him for Luck. Then i would trade Schuab for another pick plus receiver or just a really good receiver and later pick. Lots of WR free agents this coming up offseason. All that + new management and new coaching staff. Chin or Chuckie.

Surely you're not saying that Bradford is the same prospect as Luck are you?

What's the point of getting Luck if has no one to throw to?

While I would agree that a QB is more important to a team than a WR, but AJ aint no regular WR.

He made David freaking Carr look semi decent and made Schaub look like a Pro Bowler. Look at Schaub without AJ, he's playing like crap.

Unless we address the WR position, a position we are already thin behind AJ, then I would make the trade.

What's the point of having a HOF Luck if he's throwing passes to Jokeby Jones who can't catch them?

it's much easier to get good WRs then it is a franchise QB.

That's what free agency and draft picks would be for. If you're trading for Luck, you're extending your time horizon and probably not planning to be great next year.

    Carr didn't look semi-decent.

If you make that trade then we are rebuilding with a HOF Luck ... future FA Wrs may wanna come join him the following offseasons.... And its not necessarily rebuilding... If all we need to do to maximize his production is acquire a Wr, then thats pretty minor IMO... Maybe Im wrong but I'll take my chances

Also, if the Texans traded AJ for Luck, they probably can also then trade Schaub for something or other.

Surely you're not suggesting that Bradford is not a franchise quarterback.

If Palmer set the market rate, then Luck would be worth 3 #1's.
So straight up for Andre', yes.

I put him on the level as Matt Ryan and Shaub.

With a well rested and potentially healthy Peyton Manning.
