Do it. Then take Teague at #14, package the remainder of picks to snag D. Lamb late in the 1st, trade Lowry and Scola for Wall, and give somebody a blowie in the lottery for Jones and have a whole UK lineup.

    I like that idea.

Think we could get Durant for our 14th and 16th pick? Would love to but I don't know if Morey would pull the trigger.

Oh god some people are already falling in love with the next average player. His name is Teague. Oh well another average year coming.

No way we can probably get someone better like Durant.

Seriously how is this even a question?

Honestly, Kings wouldn't do it and unless there is proof that McHale can calm some of the fires we currently have in our locker room, I don't think I would trust what we'd have to give up to get such a emotional player.

Especially if Lowry is still on the roster since I have concerns about him being a leader on the team recently.

You are jumping to conclusions. At this point no one has been drafted. Please don't do that. Keep in mind that we have two selections. We don't know if we are trading back, or where we will be selecting him, if at all. Big if. I haven't seen anyone on the board "fall in love with him." Perhaps you are letting your emotions stemming from an obscure rumor get the best of you.

    Here was your reaction

Given the fact that we currently have two starting point guards on the roster, and one will without a doubt be on a different roster at the start of next season, there will be a gaping hole at backup PG. How can you not reasonably assume a point guard will be looked at through the draft? Drafting a point guard shouldn't come at a surprise to anyone. What were you hoping for another small forward? I'm seriously confused here.

So I overreacted and then you try to convince me we need another point guard? Gotcha.

I'd trade #16 and Kyle Lowry for Cousins and sleep like a baby.

Great idea, do you think we could also trade our #14 for Harden or Ibaka? The Thunder possibly need to get rid of one guy and this is a VERY DEEP draft.

No, we'd trade #16 for Cousins. #14 for Cousins, hell you're ridiculous dude, the pick alone is far more valuable and could net us Harden or Ibaka.
Sign Deron and Dwight and our roster will be set.

Sacramento is getting a good player at #16, they'll be better off without Cousins. This is a steal for the Kings to get a draft pick, they are better without a bum like him. (I'm smoking weed)

OP, were you the one that tweeted this trade to Morey like he must do this?

There is no way the Kings give up Cousins for the 16th pick. The Rockets would do this in a heartbeat but the Kings won't.
