no godammnit. That would mean Sloan would be in the books as a rockets coach. And that is intolerable.

I am quoting my own post to make sure that it is at the end of the thread, so that all Clutchfans be reminded that Jerry Sloan is in fact a big steaming pile of crap.

That is not opinion. It is fact.

    Post of the decade!

There are so many other filthy tricks that the Utah Jazz have indulged over the years as well. The infamous non stopping shot clock and so forth. They are the dirtiest professional basketball organization of all time!

Why the **** would you want him?

Not to mention, people have yet to explain WHY SLOAN IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ADELMAN THAT YOU'RE WILLING TO DEGRADE YOURSELF LIKE THIS.

If we had Rambis, or Del Negro, than I could see why people might want a coach like Sloan. But we have Adelman. Who's just as good, AND ISN'T JERRY SLOAN.

Good god, the stupidity of this board blows my mind at times.

My guess is that most people interestd in Sloan coming to the Rockets are probably less than 30 years old. They just don't remember or have the right context.

Yeah, that's really what has shocked me. The number of pages is just a reflection of the amazing number of goofuses (say that 3 times, real fast!) inhabiting the GARM these days. That anyone would want to hire the 68 year old bane of the existence of this franchise is mind blowing.

It's got to be people that haven't been fans long, at least I hope. No way someone votes Sloan if they had experienced all we (team & fans) have gone through with the team that must not be named.

    No to Jerry Sloan...

However I do want to replace Adelman; and Nate McMillan is in his last year of his contract, and people are saying his looking to go else where.. His a great coach at developing young talent, and is great at getting the best of his players..

I say we make a full persuit after Nate McMillan!

Larry Brown would turn our group of role playes into the 2004 Pistons Championship Team. Hell he knows what to do with Battier, Hayes, Scola and Martin already. Hire Larry Brown!!!!

If I had to watch those eyes drooping and that mouth hanging open every time I turn on a Rockets game, I'd have to consider switching teams. Seriously.

Thank Moses the people in charge of making decisions for the team would never give this even a second's worth of consideration.
