    Please stop. Just STOP!

Just because a coach or player or trainer or GM gets released doesn't automatically make him available for the Rockets!!!

I don't even care if it's hypothetical. It'f ****ing stupid!!!

Adelman coached Drexler and Weber, also. Neither of them pushed him out.

I'd pass, but Adelman in Utah. That'd be perfect for them and Adelman.

I just made it 49.3% and am looking for help to get it over 50%.

Suck it up, boys. You wouldn't want him as a neighbor, but he's a great coach. Gets the most out of his players. But I'll grant you he may have run his course.

Wrong! Knight won 3 titles, usually with lesser talent and is still the all time winningest coach in NCAA. You might not always agree with his methods, but he was a great coach.

Can you tell I'm from Indiana and went to several Knight camps as a child? :p

You suck it up. Sloan is a good tactician, a great disciplinarian, but runs a dirty, cheap-shotting team of floppers.

For all his 23 years as coach, how many rings has he won?

And how would that make him an upgrade over Adelman?

To be honest, if Sloan has a ring, I would reply to you and say

    "But he has a ring"

Since he doesn't, well yeah you're right. If he has a ring, I'm all in for him. Since he doesn't, not thank you.

Is there any chance that Adelman could be a coach candidate for the Jazz next year? I'm really...really worried.

Hell no! Jerry Sloan's offense is predictable and easily exploited. Picking him up for a short time frame (as somebody suggested) would be useless because he would want to install his system. Rick Adelman runs a better system that tailors more to the individual talents of our players. What we need is to cash in some of our young talent for better starting caliber talent -- not a new coach. The GARM be patient about our current situation (needing more talented players), and, the fact is, that situation would only be exacerbated by bringing in a new coach with a new system. Let Daryl Morey work his magic! ;)

That's really plausible. The Jazz are ahead, player-wise.
