Kobe used to work out in the off season at the same local gym I go to here in Houston a few years ago. After a few times of seeing him there, I got the courage to ask him for his autograph on a Sports Illustrated I brought in. I told him I was kinda nervous asking people in a gym for an autograph, but he laughed and said there is nothing to be nervous about since "I'm a nice guy." After that he would nod at me whenever I saw him at the gym later on. I've liked Kobe ever since.

Without a picture, this is just a fairytale. I don't know if he did it, but I sort of buy into the prevailing internet rumor that they were doing it and then he decided to go for the pooper and she didn't like that. Morally, I'm still undecided as to how wrong that is. I'd still take a picture with him, just cause it's interesting. Hell, I'd take a picture with OJ. It's not like I'd frame these suckers to look at every day, but those pictures would be cool to put in my collection.

sorry jo mama, but i didn't know about your track record... 3 2 1 chilling. However, tookie is not just any death row inmate, a quick google search will show you why. I support taking life from someone who has done so. HOwever, at this time, I am in favor of suspending the death penalty across the world until a true balanced system of justice is setup.

its all good. perhaps a well-placed emotocon would have made my sarcasm more obvious. i know who he is and do think that there are enough questions about the crime to warrant suspending the death sentence. im against the death penalty in general though - i just dont think we have the right to take the life of another. that doesnt mean i am soft on violent crime though - i think murderers and rapists should get life sentences with no chance of parole. and we need to bring back the "chain gangs" so they pay for their keep and they arent any more of a burden on the taxpayers than they already are. also, the fact that innocent people have been executed by the state should warrant a suspension of all death sentences. i can think of no greater injustice to someone than to be executed by your government for something you didnt do.
