What if the majority of active voters stay? Is Clutch going to kick them out, even if some of them were obviously trolling with crazy threads?

Maybe we should go through some kind of clan oath to denounce Lin.

We're screwed. 69 percent LOF + 70 percent DCOF (from another poll) > 100 percent.

Rockets will have no fans left...

Wow I'm shocked at the poll results! I've been a Rockets fan since the 70's and can't comprehend the concept of liking a team because of a specific player. It's called a team for a reason.

I like how a moderator gave me negative rep for using the term "LOF". He must have been really busy giving all the posters who have used that term negative rep.

If the OP simply HAD to post this thread, he could have at least made it a public poll. Let everyone make their thoughts on this urgent, never before discussed topic public, so we all know just how they feel.

I have followed Rockets and this forum since Yao/T-Mac era. In my opinion, people post here because they want to see Rockets to succeed, LOF or not. Who are you to define true fans and fake fans? My interpretation of the result is you are just the vocal minority.

For the most part, people are just don't like boring, selfish, isolation 1-on-1 basketball.

There are 30 NBA teams in the league, some of them have surprisingly good talent and team play. Star power doesn't always = to a watchable team.

I would not be surprised if more than 70% of the votes here are troll votes. If they are going to leave, why would they care the fans that remain knows who they are. Make the vote public, then it will have more meaning. With out it, it is just another stupid LOF vs LOH thread.

Are these poll results serious, there are more Lin fans than rockets fans. This is just ridiculous. I'm not pro or anti Lin, but this is just frustrating. If you are more of a Lin fan then a Rockets fan, then I really hope he gets traded so most of you can follow him to other fan website. This is just sad, more individual player fans then team fans.

I'm sure the 2500 voters in the poll who said they'd quit following the Rockets, along with those 1100 voting that they will continue to support their team, would be happy to make their vote public. I know that the 3600 voting as of 4:35 this afternoon are a small fraction of the 50,000 members of ClutchFans, but they did bother to vote. Why go to the trouble if the other 46,000 members won't know your position? Seems a bit cowardly to keep this private, in my humble opinion. As one of the 1100, I'm happy to say that I voted to continue my long support of the Houston Rockets, regardless of what the future holds for Jeremy.

    That's hardly the case.

People are becoming a fan because YOUR ARE WINNING!

How much more boring it could be comparing to the late 90 and early 2000 Spurs team and also the Pistons team?

How worse it could be to force you to watch those games when scoring in the 70-80 pts per game?

It doesn't matter, if your team is winning, you don't give it a f**k and will just call it "defense win the championship", same as for iso ball.

I would love for LoF's to leave. I have no idea why they inted on staying where they are unwanted.
