Been a Rockets fan all my life. Was fortunate enough to watch Game 7 against the Knicks for our 1st championship. Seen many players I like come and go. As an Auburn alum, I have pulled especially hard for Jabari.I think he gets traded …still would be a Rockets fan but would also be a fan of his new team as I would for Jalen,Alpe etc.

They would have to do something seriously stupid like trade Luka for AD level dumb to make consider that

Not really, he's still largely unproven.

I was thinking Tari most likely.

This coming from you who trashed Jalen since his playoff performance? Look back at what you have posted. You turned from support to bitter hate. As I said before which triggered your weak ass. If you had no expectations then you would not be upset or disappointed. The fact you have reversed course and ranted for weeks about how much you dislike him and think he is weak and that you “gave up” on him shows your level of hurt. You know this is true.

“constructively critical” this means not trashing our players. One cannot say they’re with the team then trash any of our players. This simply is contradictory. I don’t think players do that to each other saying they’re all for the team and in it together while throwing certain players under the bus. How many fans do this? Continually trash certain players while propping those they like up without any real analysis or substantiating information then claiming they’re all for the team?

How do you know these people online were Chinese? That’s like saying all Sengun fans are Turkish.

Also if you go back and do a search you would see a lot of bias for Sengun from many fans. We see a similar bias for Sheppard and Cam to an extent.

The term player’s “only fans” is subjective and open to interpretation. To me This doesn’t necessarily mean a fan who only supports one player and not the team. There’s many people on this thread who I consider Sengun Only Fans, which means having a strong emotional attachment to a player, which results in extreme bias and inaccurate analysis on that player despite the lack of substantiating information and evidence to the contrary.

If you ask from an international fan’s perspective, the short answer is:” yes for a while then no”

I have been following Turkish NBA players; and by definition I am a “Sengun fan”. Over the years I have mostly followed turkoglu’s (sac, sas, orl) and Mehmet Okur’a teams (pistons, jazz). It is more fun to follow closely when your player plays meaningful minutes and the team is competing for playoff success. Naturally you understand and learn more about other characters in the team and curious about how they develop. For instance I now watch Amen’s development as well. I am happy when the team wins and upset when they lose ( even Alperen plays well)

If sengun is traded, I would still follow rockets for sometime; however, the frequency will decrease and naturally I will start not to care after while.

There've been moments when the flame flickered. Not out, just dimmed. I'm a Rockets Fan For Life. It's in the bloodstream. My dad was diehard and I just sort of inherited it, like a birthright. That and post-game Whataburger. :)

But there’s a whole crop of so-called fans here who seem only attached to one player rather than the team or city.

Well, all my favorite players are not in the league anymore, so... I don't have any favorite player but I do have one favorite team;)

BTW, just curious, how many team fans here do not have any links to Houston/Texas and do not inherite it from a family member.

I’m one. Never been to Houston even. When i was a kid i really liked hakeem and Barkley so when the suns and rockets played i didn’t have a strong preference for who won. In 96 when Barkley was traded to the rockets that’s when i became a full 100% rockets fan. When i got into baseball around 97 i just went astros, and texans when they came in since i never had a favorite team.

Been a fan of the Rockets since Buck Johnson, I just loved his energy and how he fit with Max and Kenny on the break. Those three would fly out there, they could put up numbers in a flash ala run TMC. There’s been a lot of great players that have come and gone since, I’m fully invested in the Rockets winning and will continue to be a fan.
