LOL, I agree the rockets should never sign malone, but if he could teach yao to play half as dirty as he does, everyone will fear Yao :D, and that would be fun to see.

Yeah except Yao throwin' bows isn't as effective (would go over some ppl, and the others.....well he'd just pull a Malone/Rice Player incident and thats just UGLY). Also havin'g a 7 foot 6 guy flopping all of the time hitting the floor isn't really a good thing.

Rox does not even have a chance. Malone has clearly stated that he would only sign with the Lakers if he can play. Otherwise he will retire.

It will be funny if we get T-Mac and Karla started to knock on CD's door.
But bad news for him that his career is practically over.

I would rather sign the postal employee that brings me my mail than Karl Malone. And she's only 5'4".

Nobody fears Malone in the league. If anything, everyone will lose respect for Yao as a person if he played "as dirty" as Malone does. Have people around here been too subtle pointing out that Malone=Cowardice of the worst kind?

Can anyone tell me the difference b/t Malone and Oakley? At least Malone was good at one point.

    This is an interesting question.

In other threads Yao is attacked for being too soft. He needs to be mean.

Then we are asked do we want the toughest guy and the response is

    and on

Yes, he may have been the toughest; but only when dishing it out. When some one does the same to him, he cries like a baby. That's what I liked about Boki. Malone manhandled him & Boki never flinched. He just stuffed Malones a@@ on a layup & jogged away. Malone picked himself up off the floor & ran after Boki pointing his finger & crying like a baby.

I'd rather have Boki teaching Yao toughness!!

At the price the Lakers paid for Malone......ABSOLUTELY. But the Rockets will not get that price. And enough of the homers in this thread. I would love to see you try and make an argument about how a healthy Karl Malone would hurt the Rockets.

    Two things:

    1. The Mailman is looking more like federal employee everyday.

    2. The first point doesn't matter. I don't want the guy on my team -- ever.

I could never root for a team with Karl Malone on it. Thank goodness he isn't on the Olympic team!! So I say "No!" Anyway, he will probably retire. As Peter May of the Boston Globe said, "Malone looks like toast."

I cannot believe it! This playoff, Karla publically dissed us and said he didn't care what we thought since he would never play for us. After that, I won't take him even if he kneel down and kiss my feet begging us to take him for a hotdog!

And let's not forget what a dirty jazzhole he has been his whole career.

I will never understand why a rockerts fan would even suggest to get karla after what he had said and done to our team. Plus, stop talking about how tough he is. He might be very tough in old days, but not now. U have to realize he's 41, and got knee injury. So, plz, people. Stop Posting threads like this ever!!!

Karla's absence was the single biggest reason why the Lakers looked so vulnerable in the finals. Hate him or not, this SOB can still play if he's healthy. However, I think that we'll never see him again in an NBA game. He's indeed toasted.
