Hopefully this puts an end to "Moreyball" style on the court; which dictates a bunch of non shooter jack up threes left and right.

I like Morey as a personnel man but not as the pseudo coach.

Bunch of idiots in this thread tbh. People claiming this is what Morey wanted or this was Morey's guy with zero knowledge of the situation. Did not read any reports throughout the process or listen to any of Morey's quotes. Just a bunch of brain dead jackasses.

Obviously this was Les' hire and yes Morey should resign.

But isn't that point? They already play an offense inspired by D'Antoni and Morey publicly stated that their defense needed work. In that situation why bring in head coach who teaches that system? It's overkill.

Yes, another coach may have tweaked the offense. But the whole league is trending this way, so most other coaches would not have totally changed the offense. Especially, since the team does not have the pieces to try a different offense.

Yes. If D'Antoni is successful. I will gladly give all that credit to Les. Though, given that would require some talent acquisition, some credit would have to go to Morey as well.

Maybe Morey should suggest to Les, "Let me be the coach and you be the GM." Everybody will be happy.

While Morey is less upset with this as some people think or make it out to be, he should and I would. How can you work for someone who does not let you do what you are hired to do? It's the ultimate disrespect, but I'm sure Morey given that he could not chase who he wanted, is fine with this hire.

If he had wanted to re-sign he'd have given up his job to coach/gm JVG.
