Man, some crazy hostility here. Okay, lemme put my two cents in:
Battier and Hayes aren't floppers. There's a great difference between drawing a charge and flopping. A flop is when a player takes some tiny amount of incidental contact and acts as if he was hit by a bus. Flopping is exaggerating some incidental contact. Drawing a charge is when you anticipate where a player will move and step in his way. You plant your feet and get him to run you over. Battier and Hayes are great at drawing charges. Scola is a flopper.
    Observe:

That said, I greatly disagree with you on utah. So does Hakeem Olajuwon, "MVPs do not need to flop." And as for them deserving a championship? They've tried to steal one. Twice.

Mmm... Nothing like a carl malone bear hug! I guess dragging a player back 10 feet wasn't a foul back then.

And while you may attack this one way or another, I didn't watch basketball for 7 years after that. Seven. Just like they did in the 2006 NBA Finals, the referees decided that.
YES, Houston could've played harder. YES, someone on the Mavericks could have taken the ball to the rack and actually tried to draw a foul. But that doesn't excuse the fact that the games were decided by the officials.

Look... I don't have a problem with the Mavs. I'm actually kind of frustrated with them now; that team had SO MUCH promise, and it was blown away by their owner (who I have always liked). To top it off, Avery always over coaches. But you're wrong here. utah is notoriously dirty. malone used to send players to the hospital regularly. And stockton undercut, threw elbows, etc. You think Bruce Bowen is dirty? Bruce Bowen is a freaking SAINT compared to the teams lead by jerry sloan for the past 20 years. And sloan was a Bowen-like player when he was playing.

They flop, shove, maliciously throw elbows, complain about everything, and cheat (yes, cheat). They have the most classless fans I've ever seen (and I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan).

And, look, I don't like the city of Dallas. I lived there for four years (okay, denTON technically), but I spent a ton of time all around the metroplex. Part of that comes from the long rivalry between my hometown (Houston) and yours (I assume), and part of that comes from living there. I just can't stand the place. That said, I'd still rather live there than see utah win it all. Heck, even Dirk Nowitzki agrees with me:
"I hate the city of Utah more than any other in the NBA."

The irony in this transition is just.....remarkable. Dirk and Manu fans have no right to whine about flopping.

There's plenty of contact that doesnt get called in game. Like Scola's "elbow" (elbow? more like WEAK right hand") but they have to stop play and get the refs involved cuz someone off of a touch wants to fly into the stands as though Hulk Hogan threw em out the wrestling ring.

I appreciate no nonsense no excuses approach as anyone else, but its not working here.

What the heck are you looking at? While the Rockets still did their part to lose, the clips plainly show flops.

Excellent post, but I'm afraid you won't get through to redefined. His definition of a flop means going down after any contact, even if a Shaqdozer just ran through you. He thinks players should be strong enough to withstand that kind of contact without falling.

Number 1 is my life currently.

Watching the Mavs struggle with the Bees is very pleasing, btw.

What??? your a Rockets Fan? Then how come last year when while at the Game 7 vs. the Jazz DFW Clutchfans viewing party, you were rooting for the Jazz the entire game? That really ticked me off that you came out and supported the Jazz the entire time.
