He is not better than Joe Johnson. Ginobli is debatable but he is still imo better than Martin.

I think Kmart is soooo underrated. He is one of the most efficient scorers in NBA HISTORY and can easily put up a 50 point night on any given night. Not so sure about Ginobili or Joe Johnson. Their other stats creates an illusion they are much better but really Martin is probably on another level scoring-wise.

This is a bad poll it is like asking which child you love better.

I don't want Anthony if we have to give either of them up.

Heck, Martin scores nearly as much as Carmelo and on fewer shots and is a much more efficient player.

And they both are pretty bad on D, but at least Martin is not a punk like Melo.

Also.... Martin can score within the flow of the offense, while Melo needs the ball in his hands.

Another good point, Melo just doesn't fit on the Rockets, his game is all about Melo....

Brooks is just more of a clutch player than Martin. And I think playoff basketball is better suited for Brooks - who also isn't as injury prone or fragile despite his size.

Martin is a good player but I'd package him away first. Billups is a great fundamentally sound point guard and I'd love to play him but he'd be a great back-up to Brooks.

    Give up Martin and Lowry.

Melo is a punk ass. Moreover, he's an over-rated, one-man-show, and ge does so on only one side of the court. Therefore I hope the rockets stay put because their too good for him.

If everyone takes a backseat, then nobody can drive the car.

For a big man that shoots over 80% FT i was surprised that Yao wasn't even higher on this list.

Or it is a long drive and you need multiple people to take the wheel.

With Carmelo Anthony, I think Brooks would fit more with the rockets than Martin.

So now instead of "not being a winner," Anthony is a punk? If a shrink gave him a clean bill of health, would you come up with another reason not to trade Brooks for him?

I voted Martin, but after reading the thread, I've switched to Brooks.

in terms of salaries matching up, martin would probably be the one to go... i'd rather see some sort of package of battier, hill/bud, knick #1, patterson.. but that will never happen :(
