I'll clarify this, as I have before. TS% is used to measure SHOOTING EFFICIENCY. Someone being a more efficient shooter does not necessarily make them a more efficient offensive player. A great example of this is Steve Novak. He's an awful offensive player, yet he has a career 58.8 TS%. I know what your argument is but I don't like when I see people start to use shooting efficiency and offensive/overall efficiency interchangeably. You could actually argue that Melo is a more efficient player overall, of course it isn't easy to prove such a thing statistically.
