I'm 5'7" 200 pounds The big guys would be 5'11 240 The small guys would be 5'4 170 I think I'll take the small guys but I probably get my butt kicked in both situations assuming they have the same skills as I do. However, they these guys don't know how to fight, I would take the big guy I guess.
When fighting two or more guys, you have to accept the fact that you'll suffer some pain. Once you get your mind wrapped around this fact, the strategy is evident. Find a place where you can protect your back. Pick the toughest one (or the leader, depending on the psychological interactions of your opponents) and try to eliminate him from the fight as quickly and violently as possible while ignoring the others, even if it means slamming his head into a concrete post. It means you'll have to take a few undefended hits, but with any luck, the other guys will hesitate a bit and you'll be able to incapacitate the first guy quickly. Fight your way back to a place you can protect your back and repeat. Usually, if you can get to the leader, the other guys lose a little of their appetite for a fight, particularly if their leader is unconscious. Don't wait for the first hit or the first rush. Keep your cool, rationally pick your target, and make a move when the physics are advantageous to you. Don't show fear. Laugh at them and welcome the fight/pain.
One big guy, one swift kick to the nuts should suffice for my getaway on foot. Harder to kick two guys in the nuts.
So, I'm getting a beatdown either way? I'd prefer a choice between one guy 3/4ths my size or two guys half my size. I'm voting big guy, because he probably can't run as fast as the two little guys.
If I have my handgun or knife, one guy. Any other fight I would probably fight the smaller guys. Unless it was a bar fight where we are packed in there. If there is space then small guys for sure.
I pick 2 if one of them is mazyar. There would be a strong likelihood he'd stand around and comment on how gorgeous either me or the other guy was.
I am six five, and 240 lbs. I would NEVER fight two guys at the same time no matter what their size. You are nearly guaranteed to end up on the ground being kicked or at the very least hit from behind. You only hope is to incapacitate one of them very early on - if not you are dead meat. I have seen expert fighters get taken down by two novices. It's just such a terrible mismatch. Against a big guy, you also have a much better chance of running away. So all in all, pick the big guy.
Two small guys. Why? You knock one out. Just get it done early. Don't play around, just knock em out. Then, that leaves you one more that you can take your time beating up. There ya go.
Two smaller guys. I'm a pretty peaceful cat, who hasn't had a fight in ages and ages, but if forced to it, I fight dirty. Kick one in the nuts, or hit same with a heavy, blunt object, and then deal with the other guy. Rise and repeat. I'm not a big dude, so that works for me.
Exactly, again. 1) Level the playing field. Quick. Dirty. Whatever. 2) Then hurt the other one. It's simple.
I don't know many 5'6"/5'7" 200-lb guys that could take me alone, but most Mario Williams-sized guys would make quick work out of me. I'm gonna try my luck with the two little guys.
You may get one strike in then it's over. If that one strike doesn't take someone out, and it's hard for your first strike to do it because usually when a fight begins you aren't expecting to get into a fight (unless you initiate it). If two guys jump you, they may be inside of you before you know it. How you going to hit someone hard when they are already grappling you? Kick one in the nuts? Where you going to get the blunt object from? It's not like they approach you and say, "Haha, we are two and you are one - be prepared to die on the count of 5". Too many movies dude.
One side kick can take a small guy down swiftly and take the wind out of him. Not all fights have to resort to flailing your arms.
