This is a pretty mediocre poll. I'd choose my birth year (1984) mostly because of a certain girl person. But you've got a pretty sizable gap there.

Do we have to live in the same geographic location? Like, if I choose pre-1939, am I stuck in the gulf coast area, regardless of which co-inhabitants I have (if any)?

If that's the case, then send me to the future.

BUT.... If I can also be placed say, in Europe, then definitely send me back in time. I'll take Italy in the late 14th century... After the black plague, but just in time for the Renaissance.

I liked growing up in the late 70's and 80's. I would keep it the same.

I don't know, man. Growing up in the 70s was pretty freakin' cool. Everything was plastic and full of crazy poisonous dyes and whatnot.
Also, there was a certain period in the 80s I wouldn't trade for anything!

The future is quite different to the present
The one thing we have in common with the present is we still call it the present, even though it's the future
What you call the present we call the past, so you guys are way behind

I'm good with my original birth year.

Though I might have changed a few decisions along the way.

I was born in 73' but personaly I'd wish I could go back a few extra years maybe in the mid 60's. I'd hate to miss out on the 80's! :D

I would give anything to be born today. Sleep for hours, crap in your pants, and suck on a tit. win.

i always say to myself "wow, this is a really exciting time to be alive" (with some of the technological innovations we are witnessing) but it's all perceptually relative, isn't it?

what i mean is that i'm sure the collective feeling during every period in human history was the same sense of excitement as is being experienced now. man discovering the wheel or fire was probably more greatly mind blowing as the iphone 3G - they atleast had serious, serious practical ramifications for survival and quality of life. while each latest tech toy has us saying "nice, but i'll probably wait a bit for the sony to hit this summer," when man discovered fire, the response was a "holy $#i+!! i'm not limited to the f***ing raw food diet anymore."
