Part of Lin's problem here was because of his contract, but now Lin's getting paid 2 mil a year. I'm sorry but unless you're completely trolling, I don't see how any rocket fan right now can prefer Ty Lawson over Jeremy Lin thus far this year.

Ty is worse than Lin. That's a statement I thought I'd never utter ever.

Lin is better than Lawson and it's not close.

Sadly as rockets fans the only thing that matters is if the player performs well in our system.

But isn't this a condemnation of Moreyball? He has put together some serious rosters on paper but don't stats omit that a significant part of the game is chemistry? All this assumes its not a "system" issue but a chemistry one.

Unless the system is the problem, in which case we need to wise up as fans and stop taking dumps on our players.

Lin is shooting under 30% from three this year. He'd be a PERFECT fit for this team.

Love how all the Lin hate is still around. Even now that he has an under valued contract. Guy cant get a fair shake In some people's eyes. Lin isn't as bad as all the haters make him out to be and he isn't as good as all the lovers believe him to be. I bet Lin probably knows where he is in comparison to everyone in the league.

Three no system. Ty and his turnovers are disturbing

I would take current Lin over current Lawson without hesitation. That's just how bad Lawson currently is.

I don't see it posted here, but I didn't look very hard. On Thursday he plead guilty to driving while ability impaired and a lane violation. He faces up to 180 days in jail when he is sentenced Jan. 14. Maybe now that the worst part of his case is behind him, he can move forward with his life. He'll almost certainly see some jail time, but definitely not 180 days. Probably more like 20 days maximum.

I always think Lin is backup material and a borderline starter in some weak teams. But since Lawson is playing like a dleaguer right now, I'll take Lin in a heartbeat.

Morey ball is alright at least it proved that it can take us to the wcf. Players are just simply not making their shots.
