But isn't it possible to kill bin Laden without being consumed by hate, rage and anger?

Since none of us has probably killed anybody, those who say we would or could kill bin Laden are just conjecturing, but I think I would kill him without hesitation although I don't even think about him that often. He just deserves to die for his crimes against humanity and the world.

Mr. Brightside, I don't like GW either, but to justify Bin Laden and his consitent killing of innocent civilians is ...INCREDULOUS !!

I'd kill him with my bare hands on my grandmother's birthday on the steps of a church with my children watching. Top that b****es!

I thought you wanted to kill him so badly? isn't that a start to give yourself a chance? or you don't want to kill him so badly that its not even worth taking a chance?

didn't you read my answer up there?

    its a no brainer

given a chance, will I kill a fugitive wanted but the US govt who has a 25 million bounty on his head? hell yeah

can I ask you what's the point of this poll? are you trying to measure how evil OBL is, or are you measure how many in the bbs support him, or what?

The point of this poll is to show how bloodthirsty human beings are. Two-freakin'-thirds of us have no qualms about killing for vengeance/personal gain. I don't know what to say about that.

Actually he is probably the ONLY man I would kill without hesitation, and I was wondering if that were the case for everyone else.

I would do it even if there was no reward, it would make the planet a better place.

I'm pretty sure there is. I don't know a lot of people who have killed another person in war, but I those that I do know rarely had hate toward the enemy. They firmly believed that there side was right, and death was a part of the job. Often you even hear empathy, as the other person is just a soldier fighting for the wrong side. It would be much harder to find a member of the US military who doesn't feel hate, rage, or anger toward bin Laden, but I'm sure some exist. They could kill the man out of patriotism, or it being the right thing to do. But I would assume that this group would take him alive if possible.

Will killing him bring back innocent lives? No. Will it prevent him from taking more lives? Perhaps, but so will locking him up. Others will carry on his work, in any case. And still more will strike back in vengeance

But it's not even about whether he "deserves" to live or die. Everybody lives. Everybody dies. It's about the satisfaction you think you'll get from killing him. It's about you justifying this with notions of justice and the triumph of good over evil. You say he is the ONLY man you would kill without hesitation, but he's not all that unique - there are many like him, and I don't mean Muslims. I'm talking about people who believe they're right and take it to extremes

Killing him would only set a precedent for your own willingness to pass judgment.. to take another life

Could any of you see the nobility of his cause?

Cuz I bet that 80% of the viewers of Al-Jazeera across the Muslim world would personally DIE TO SAVE Osama Bin Laden.

That is why we will never catch him. But then again, if we could all understand each other, there would never have been any need for war or terrorism. :(

I am a pretty pacifistic person. I once took a punch in the face from a 55 year old because I was afraid I would hurt him.

I don't believe in the death penalty.

I would try to bring Osama back alive. But if my only options are to kill him or let him go free...I could kill him.

I don't know that that makes me, or anyone who voted yes especially bloodthirsty.
