few times i agree with you, but i'd like to think the proper authorities would take this action.... i still had to vote for yes i would kill him though, there are too many feelings that i don't think i could contain if i was put in the situation.

The man's dead. His name is being kept alive to maintain an identifiable enemy (for the public). Just like al-queida, the groups done, finished, dead.
It's already happened. I'm not even Muslim, but I was called some pretty racist things at school on 9/11. Everyone was understandably mad, but most of us forget how bad discrimination got for Muslim Americans and people with brown skin in general.
I like this idea better. I, too, am against the death penalty on a religious basis. (I still voted yes, what can I say, I'm not perfect.) But real punishment like this, I'm all for it.
Not sure I could kill anybody unless I or my family were being attacked. Even then killing would probably just be an accident or something. If I went to the store and saw Bin Laden I would do my best to subdue him. I don't carry a weapon so I could not kill him. If this is assuming I am in the desert and have a rifle or pistol or something...again, I would probably just try to wound or knock him out. I would fear that killing anyone, regardless of who it is, would stay with me. Having been a little too close to it in my past, I know that there is nothing sexy about guns/weapons and killing.

Strong words Brightside. You should be careful saying things like that, even if you do not mean it seriously (which I am sure you do not). People have actually gotten into real trouble making comments like that on the Internet.
