......even if it was tuned for racing? MSRP: $98,995 http://blog.caranddriver.com/ford-f...r-priced-at-98995-deliveries-begin-late-2012/
Some people like certain clothes simply because of the brand name; others can look at stitching, patterns, material, themes and judge the quality or beauty independent of the label or even price tag. If you're the kind of person who can do the same with cars: see more than just color, body type, demographics or an emblem; and you got a track or a stretch of road you can run it on, than spending the cash makes sense.
Hell yes. Ford Fiesta too please. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4TshFWSsrn8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Same argument when Dodge came out with the Neon SRT4. All wheel drive and turbo... but it's still a neon.
No. Racing cars are only good for racing. They're horrible day-to-day rides with all the comfort features stripped out. Is the Nissan GT-R high maintenance? The fluid they fill out the tires with isn't even air but nitrogen, I believe. I dunno if there's a severe performance impact if you fill it out with just air. It's also a pretty beefy, heavy car, kind of a muscle car with a lot of high-tech computer system. I'm not really fond of it though I'd sure take it if it was just handed to me.
A tuned one of these will cost you 150k! Its crazy how good this car is. Stock and it will destroy anybody, imagine upgraded. The advertisements make it a regular but i still will get "car struck" if i see one of these (more exciting then seeing a lambo) at least for me. I hate how they say its not intimidating or as nice as seeing a Porsche....You kidding? See it in real life and then we'll talk. Such a beauty!
It's rare to see one on the street but I've seen one before in my rear view mirror and blaze right past me on the freeway. It was impressive to see its speed. I also love this car and hope to own one pretty soon.
I heard if you flex it's power the computer puts it into "limp" mode and you have to take it back to the dealership to be corrected. Anyone else heard this?
That's actually a bargain for a fully licensed race ready car. It gets really expensive trying to build one from scratch. Comparing it to the GTR is apples to oranges. One is a street supercar that can easily be daily driven, the other has a jungle gym and a 5 point harness wich are not good for a daily driver.
Haven't heard that one... although on the first model they said if you engage sport mode and turn off all the traction in the car then the warranty is terminated. Not the case on the newer models.
