I kind of want Bogut on this team. He would be our Warriors insider but I wouldn't trade Capela for him.

Your post has convinced me that if it were 2015, we should make this trade.

In almost-2017, however, Capela is already a much more polished offensive player, and his defense is adequate. It's hard to imagine an all-D/zero-O player like Noel fitting in on this current MDA team.

Eh, I'm for keeping Capela. Forever, we've wanted an athletic Center who didn't care about post touches, and could play within the system Morey invisioned.

Capela is that guy. He sets strong picks, and knows what to do after it. He's only going to get better...

I'm very excited about his future.

I'm a fan of Noel and see a LOT of defensive potential in him. What worries me is that I've seen videos of him where he admits he has no diet or strict work regimen. He seems a little lazy, not good for a player with an injury history. Capela isn't the best center, not even top 10, but he's super cheap, does exactly what the team needs, and has a strong work ethic.

I don't want a guy in my team that is constantly b****ing about his minutes.
We don't need another Asik-sad-face drama thank you very much.

    [Dude Disclaimer]

Harden would love a guy who has no diet or strict work regiment. LOL. But in all seriousness, Clint Capela is a much better player than Noel is at this point, and dude like the Noel too because it fits perfect with the hollidays and all.

To each their own. Rockets are going to need better rim protection, especially in postseason. Letting a player like KAT hang 40 is not going to cut it in playoffs. Having a 5 who can block a shot, switch off and lock down any position from 1-5, get key steals and can outrun guards on a fast break would come in handy IMO. Rockets need to get more athletic defensive minded players to complement their potent high octane offense to get far in playoffs. Adding more offensive minded players would be a luxury but upgrading the D is critical for a ring. Again that's just my 2 cents.

    I would not.

Noel may have a higher ceiling than Clint but it's not much higher then what Clint is giving us today. And even thought his ceiling may be slightly higher there is no guarantee that he ever hits that ceiling or even reaches the level that Clint is at today. I for one am not willing to risk what we already have with Clint for what we might get with Noel.

i say no, but only because i dont want to pay him this summer. would rather spend that money on hayward and keep clint for cheap.

its not always about who's better. its about who's better value. clint gives us 8/10 of what noel gives, but costs 1/10 of what noel will get paid.

You don't #### with this kinda chemistry. Not even Morey is that ballsy. There will be some tweaking around the edges, maybe a move to add depth, but the core rotation is solid. This team is playing playoff basketball in December, and the only two concerns I have are injuries and maybe the team peaking too early.

As someone said earlier, it wouldn't make any sense for Philly to make this move because all it would do is maintain their status quo of having too many people at the C position. The question you have to ask yourself instead is whether or not you would trade for him at all, and if you would, what else you would be willing to give for him? For me, it would only be picks, and even then I still wouldn't do it because it doesn't make any sense to screw up the current chemistry for something which isn't even a need at this point. For a lot of teams, it would make sense to package something for Noel, but for the Rockets currently I say no way.

I think this should be Would you move Dekker for Noel?

IF we want Noel and KJ/2017 1st/2017 Denver and Portland 2nd isn't enough then do you look at moving Dekker for Noel.

I would vote no, I think Dekker is a top 20 young player (player drafted in 2015-16) with room to improve. IF we cannot get Noel on the cheap, then I would rather just wait for the offseason, dump Brewer, and see what 25 million gets us in the offseason.

The guys in here that want a lazy, undisciplined malcontent after last year's turd truly baffle me.

We CAN NOT mess with the chemistry, unless we are bringing in a superstar talent.

I'm my mind, there is no question.
    Capela > Noel .
Capela is a up and coming star no doubt. He's earned everything he has going . I believe the chemistry with Capela and Harden is great . For Noel I'll sit sideways on my seat and fart .
