I saw it on SportsCenter this morning. That <i>was</i> complete bull**** what Henin did. I'm not going to say it had no effect on the match because I really don't know. It seems like after that is when the crowd totally turned against her. All in all, it was just plain classless and I don't blame Serena for being upset, although she probably should have kept it to herself.

 

I'm not surprised. Has everyone forgotten the French Open Final a few years ago when the crowd really got at Martina Hingis when she was playing Steffi Graf. IIRC, she was crying at the end, when she was presented with the loser's plate, and made some comment about the crowd in her interview at courtside.

The crowd was partial there, but that was no reason for Hingis to act utterly classless afterwards. I cannot stand Hingis and her stupid permanent grin.

 

I know, a lot of people like to Bash the Williams sisters as classless, but Hingis is an ass, and Kournakova saying that the William sisters "look like men" is about the most classless thing you will ever hear. But I guess sportwriters are to busy trying to look up her skirt to make a big deal about that.
