I hate the Spurs, especially living in San Antonio...but damn if they aren't acting like the classiest mofos after that no-call. From the coach to the players...I'm pretty impressed by their comments.

well the series is not over. so i still think they will make this go 7 games making this game not as important.

home loss, road win is the same as home win, road loss.

i mean of course there's the momentum shift and more pressure on the lakers to close them out if the spurs take it to 7 games..so we shall see.

Barry could not shoot a straight 3 because his movement was impeded by the foul. It had to be called. I do agree that Barry shouldn't have pump-faked it. If he went ahead and tried to shoot when Fisher crashed on him, it would have to be a 3-ft call. I guess he just didn't expect Fisher to go that hard.

of course the spurs would like a 2-shot foul call. which one is better for the spurs? 2 ft's for a 90%+ ft shooter and take it to the overtime with the momentum, or a desperate last-second 3? keep in mind that after fisher fouled him, barry had little to zero chance to make that 3.

Let's see if it wasn't Barry shooting the ball, instead, it was KB or even Ginobili
in the action, a foul would have been called.

This is so called "Star" treatment.

I agree with an earlier assessment in this thread. If there was no travel call, then I think a 2 shot foul should have been called on the contact by Fisher...which obviously impacted the play. I don't consider that particular foul one of those fouls that one should just let go because he didn't even get his original shot off because of it. He had to get around Fisher at that point to even get a shot off. Now, if there would have been some contact and the shot was put up in the air, then maybe you let it go depending on how badly it affected the shot.

In the end, I thought it was a terrible non-call for either a walk or a foul by Fisher. Something should have been called in that moment. If the ref was seeing a walk and a foul letting them offset each other, then I don't agree with that.

well, think of it this way. how often does the league come out and admit it was a missed call (or non-call)? it's gotta be pretty bad...

i think you're severely biased and have lost your usually good judgment on this one - all because of your 50 buck bet with you buddy.

Well certainly the $50 has an effect.... :D

But as a former referee when I watch the video/JPG.....I see a travel, followed by a foul.

So, to me it equals out.

well, again, that travel is almost NEVER called while that foul is almost ALWAYS called.

the refs messed up, yet again. just go ask the nba.

Well, that just disqualified you to be a competent judge of any call. :D

I know some coaches and parents that would completely agree with you.
