Dream and Yao are the only two players jerseys I have. If Yao left the way LeBron did, I would burn it without even thinking. You can't make a promise to people, to your hometown, to your friends and family, then go on ESPN and act like a turd. LeBron should have handled it better, he never should have said he will bring Cleveland a championship, thats at the level of Tmac saying its on me and then complaining when it really is on him. If Yao did that, hell yes I would burn his jersey. BUT, if Yao just left Houston, I would be grateful for the memories and wish him luck.

Lakers fans are having a real heart attack over there on ESPN forums right now. Just so much fun egging them on how they will get beat. They truely are terrified now. Well i have had enough fun for today. Lebron going to Miami was worth it. Alot of people need pepto bismol in LA tonight.

They'll still dominate the West. No championships maybe, but final appearances a plenty.

Thats debateable. Stop being a Lakers fan on here. Rockets could get past them with the right moves this year or next. Kobes knees might not make it another year. Very iffy for the Lakers these next few years as Kobes skills fade with injury and Bynums too.

Did the Chinese burn Yao's jersey, when he left his team to play in America? No.

Stop being a Lakers fan? With our lineup as is we're not going to beat the Lakers.

Being realistic. Homerism is great to an extent, but it just gets annoying after a while.

There's a big difference between Yao and Lebron. Yao is humble. Lebron is greedy.

Well, I don't exactly have a Yao jersey, but if I did, I wouldn't even think about burning it.

There are questions about LeBron's will to win in Cleveland, and whether or not he quit on the team during the playoffs.

That's not a problem with Yao. He gives it his all every single minute of every single game. If he left, he would have done it for 9 years, and considering his questions about his body right now... I would completely understand if he felt the need to go somewhere else.

I don't have to worry about that right now, though, because Yao is an incredibly loyal guy, and he's exactly what you want in your star player.

With a healthy Yao and a healthy Battier you don't see it happening? I think Ariza will play more like the Ariza of LA with Yao in the line-up. AB, KM and Lowry will add a level of speed that the aging Fisher and the ill-witted Farmar cannot keep up with. Bud will show Luke Walton that who is the better Wildcat. Hill will mature and command the inside when Yao sits. Battier will let Kobe have his 30-50 points per game but only let him get it on 20-30 shots. Really, the only thing standing in the way of these Rockets are themselves.

My only fear of that Laker team is RonRon and Odom. Those guys make Houston have to change their game up when the B-team hits the floor. Houston could take LA to seven games, and if they are lucky enough to steal a game in LA they could win the series.

This team is not built to contend at the moment. And we would only beat LA IF Yao Ming stayed healthy. He never stays healthy, unfortunately :( .

Basketball is just a part of my life. I would be frustrated when Yao would do what Lebron just did but in the end, basketball is just a part of my life.

Ask me if I would have burned my autographed Yao Ming jersey had he left then my answer would be HELL NO

Like I said, the only thing standing in between Houston and a ring is Houston. All we need is some luck.

This, I don't think anyone could really blame him for leaving to try and win a championship(ex KG). But to host a hour long special about you leaving?

LeBron is the effing king. He is the only one who dares to pull ***** like this and still has the audacity to ask Cleveland fans to continue to support him. WTF.

I don't think Yao would ever do something like what James did tonight.

When Yao left China he took out a full page ad thanking his fans for all their support through the years. Yao is a class act through and through.
