Good point. Looks like they opened the airspace again all over Europe, but it will take days if not weeks for everything to return to normal, with so many people still stranded all over the place.
With all the people trying to get home to the EU from the US, there are no upgrades available. I had already decided, but that for me, seals the deal.....I will wait 2 weeks for all this to blow over, and make my trip in the relative comfort of first class. DD
How much do you usually pay (in miles/cash) to upgrade to First on a trans-Atlantic flight? I upgraded with miles to First for the first time ever flying back from Tokyo last month. Best flight ever.
