I wouldn't do that trade. For one rockets would be loosing depth. Secondly Have you seen Troy Murphy's contract . Down the road that would be mistake for the rockets as well as Derek Fisher's contract (which doesnt expire until 09/10.
I know everybody is sick of trade threads so i'll just put this idea I thought of for fun in here...... Its a three way deal involving Houston, Indiana and Atlanta. Atlanta signs and trades Al Harrington to the Indiana Houston sends Juwan Howard to Atlanta Indiana sends Steven Jackson to Houston By all accounts, I find this to be a very fair deal. The only hold ups would be how much money Harrington expects to receive and whether or not I am dreaming about Howard having some trade value. Howard and Jackson make roughly $6-7 million a year, that is realistically a ball park figure for what Harrington will likely get. If Harrington receives something along those lines then a three way deal is possible. Indiana has made it pretty obvious they want Harrington back so they get the player they covet, Atlanta gets a proven veteran PF that can provide some offense and insurance in their frontcourt for a group thats very unproven as it is, and Houston gets a reliable 3rd gun on offense that fills the void we have at SG. Any thoughts?
