How about we trade away any fans that want to see the Kobe, Shaq and company win another title to the Lakers for future considerations?

we would still lose to the kings.....

in a couple of years we will be one of the best teams in the league. even better than the nets and lakers.

so why take a 50/50 shot at a ring now and then rebuild all over again? we will get multiple rings in the future and be around as a good team for another 10+ years.

that trade would never happen, but if it did we would win 1 ring and thats it no more, cause shaq is almost done. That trade wold make la win more rings in the future. Especially since they don't have those cap busters in mo,cato, mooch, and rice. They could sign duncan next year. Cause they will have plenty of money.

It just doesn't feel right having Shaq or Kobe here in Houston. Maybe Horry, and forget Fox. Horry could easily fit at the 3 and the Rockets would roll onto a 3rd championship....

My jaw is on the floor from all the "NO"s in this thread.

Kobe on his own is worth more than Francis and Mobley, while Shaq is worth 2 times the rest of the team.

How could you say NO to a championship?

    Shaq
    MoT/Horry
    Rice/Fox
    Kobe
    Mobley

You can throw in Mobley, and 2 unprotected first round picks in the near future, and I'd still do it.

LOL! NO to Shaq AND Kobe?

That's a swap of 2 allstars and filler for 1 allstar and filler....and right now, regardless of potential, that's all Ming, Boki, and Griffen are is filler....

anyone who would turn down that deal would be a poor GM, and therefore might quilify to run the Clippers....

I wouldn't do the trade, the Rockets are giving up way to much in a already proven Steve Francis, and a Center that could dominate the NBA in another year or so. I wouldn't want all of those Lakers anyway on the team. Shaq is all we need to win a championship right now; you take him away from the Lakers and they don't even make it to the Playoffs.

I would do that deal in a second because shaq is going to play for a couple more years and u surround shaq with anyone you got a chance to win. But this trade will never happen cause the lakers wouldn't do it and niether would the rockets.
