Kirilenko is good, but not that good. But I agree, it would be great having a Kirilenko/Nachbar duo at the 3, with Ming and Griffin in the frontcourt. That's a huge frontcourt btw: 7'6 6'11 (so far) 6'9 But, again, I doubt a KT for Kirilenko deal is possible. He's worth too much to Utah. We need to offer them some pieces in rebuilding. We don't have that.
I am unable to be to negative about Ostertag since he donated a kidney to his sister. I'm probably in a minority, but if I were playing a pickup game of 5 on 5 and Kato and Ostertag were the last two picks, I'd take Ostertag. IMHO, KT & Kato would not net Kirilenko. If the Jazz were fielding offers, they would get better than a Malone backup and a long-term mid to high priced contract. But to answer the question - yes, I would like to see Kirilenko as a Rocket.
Are you kidding me? Ill try to refrain from swearing. Fuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh! As Rockets fans, I would hope that you would hate Utah as much as me. I dont ever want to have a member of the Jazz on our team. Remember the last one we had and all the pain we went through seeing that (words fail and confuse me) Shandon Anderson miss passes and layups.:mad
The Rockets would be royaly screwed if they did this. KT is the best proven forward on our team right now, beleive it or not ( his stats were better than MO T before he was injured). To trade him and not get another proven forward would be not to smart on our part. I don't like Kenny ( game style wise ) but we would lose to much if we traded him for a center that might not play again ( due to his surgery ) and an unproven forward, Kenny has already proved himself that he can start for many NBA teams.
Actually,I think Mo-T is very talented and I hope he can come back with a bang, but I'm worried about his fitness.
The moment the Rockets traded for Ostertag would be the moment I quit following sports all together. The vomiting would last for weeks. The psychological damage, much longer. I wouldn't even trade for Shaq if Ostertag was involved. He is a piece of human trash, and it sickens me that this freak of nature is cashing in millions of dollars while so many good people out there struggle to survive. No, I would NOT do this trade.
First of all, the trade is not at all about Ostertag - I just thought it could (actually) sweeten the deal for the Jazz if they got Cato for Ostertag - the suggested trade is about Kirilenko. Secondly...I think you are choosing some harsh words here, my friend, considering that Ostertag just donated a kidney for his sister. That is a good person to me. And "human trash" is an expression I would not use for many people (perhaps in anger, when talking about some criminals or terrorists).
I don't know why you hate Ostertag so much as to call him "human trash." As for hypothetical trade, how 'bout this: We swap all our players with the Lakers. Would you do it? Would the Lakers be the Rockets just because this bunch of players were called the Rockets and played their home game in Houston? Yeah, I know, the off season is soooo long.
