Would the offseason moves be a failure if they didn't make it to the conference fnls?

The offseason is an A+++ no matter what happens. Every move we made was not only justifiable but borderline brilliant. The point is you cannot predict injuries or whether or not Adelman can mold all this talent into a serious title contender.

Morey is certainly pulling his weight. It's up to everybody else (and the injury bug) to get the job done now.

I agree. You can't judge the offseason by postseason performance. Regular season performance maybe, but no one can predict what factors between now and the playoffs will adversely affect our chances at a championship.

With what he was given, I can't see how Daryl Morey could have done much better than he has. It's an unqualified great offseason with the only possibility of making it not so being if Ron Artest destroys our team chemistry and sabotages the whole thing from the inside.

But you and I have both seen all the Artest interviews. It's 99% likely that his reckless days are behind him.

Equals complete failure unless we are just out of at least two starters due to injury!

I'm gonna lower those standards to "if we don't make it past the first round." We haven't seen the second round in so long that I have a distrust that any rockets team could accomplish that.

Yes and no. Most of all I just want to be sure they finally get out of the first round.

The "second round virgin" jokes are getting sooooooooo old...
