There have been no Centers worth drafting this year. The Rockets biggest weakness is a good big man to back up Yao and to draft a big man wouldn't be wise. Centers take longer to develop than wing players and the Rockets window of opportunity for winning a championship is getting smaller every year. It would be better to trade or pickup a good veteran backup instead of drafting a Center instead.

So if the Rockets can't draft a good back up Center, why should they try to upgrade around the perimeter? It's one of our strengths right now.

So yea I would be happy if the Rockets did not make any major changes. Health is the biggest problem for this team and the Rockets can't legitimately fix that until next year when the free agency market is full of true franchise players.

I am disappointed and a little upset that Rox is standing at the sideline watching other teams getting better... Especially after seeing Spurs' RJ acquicision and Orlando's Vince Carter trade...

You could not have said this any better. As I watch the draft coverage anticipating them to break in our trade, it has yet to happen. DM has admitted we can't stand pat and the pace that teams are moving to get deals done, we just can't wait around if we're looking to improve as player(s) we're looking to get may be gone in a blink of the eye.

Of course, a pick isn't going to help but I just want to know what that pick gets us.

No, our biggest weakness is not a backup center, we need clutch players whom can create their own shots. Then we need a backup center and better PG...

Every draft creates so many opportunities for teams to acquire talents. It doesn't necessary mean just the players from the draft... I am disappointed about the fact that we can't exploit any of these opportunites..

    Yeah I agree.

It is a top priority to resign Ron Ron now...we HAVE to hold onto him and really really try to get another solid player out of T Mac's expiring contract. The way I see it...this is the year to strike. We don't know how much longer we'll have Yao.

Really wish we could've made T Mac for Amare happen by some miracle.

Would I be happy? NO. Would I understand? Yes. Morey seems to be methodical and wait to make the right move. For all the posters complaining, think about a poker game. Even though some big stacks just won a couple of big stacks just won some more hands. You on the ohter hand just didn't have the cards to play much all night. Your stack isn't the tallest but still more healthy than most others at the table, You get an AK suited and a guy across the table just went all in...

    Do you call?
