yeah I feel you and im not saying he should have did exactly what he did.
But if a player starts in any sport that’s in his PRIME, plays every game on a playoff team, is the 2nd best player on that team then gets replaced and the team basically throws a big party put billboards up invites legends to come out and fans. I think it’s a 60% chance they will ask for a trade.

I know people give asik alot of flack here but we have to understand there is always two sides to the story.

Personally, I don't care if they trade Asik for a box of tic tacs. I like Asik but the situation changed from when the Rockets got him. They are currently throwing money away on him but Morey was hedging when he got Asik and it has paid off since Dwight could have decided to stay in L.A. This team is a marketing boon, The Beard, The Model, The Best Center, and The Far East Market. The money Morey spent on Asik is trivial in the grand scheme of things.

With Asik's current trade value non-existent and with him not playing/hurt, we're better off keeping him and getting him back for the stretch run. That will be better than any inferior backup center and medicore draft pick that we get in return.

I'd like to move Lin but I don't think there will be any takers. I'm expecting something small like D-Mo and/or Greg Smith for a marginal role player in the wing defender variety (to replace Brewer and compete with Garcia and Casspi for minutes).
