I am not gay. I was checking out Showtime's On Demand stuff last night and came across this show about 4 Gigolos who live in Las Vegas. These dudes claim to be straight and love women. After about 30 seconds of this program I couldn't get away from it... but for all the wrong reasons. I am not gay. Before I watched this trainwreck if I was 20 years younger, single and morally bankrupt I would have thought this to to be a pretty cool job, but after seeing the details of this lifestyle and the how oblivious the guys are who dwell in it I look at sex for money in a completely different way. There are 5 guys. One is an older guy who wants the viewer to believe he's on a spiritual journey all the while banging old chicks to make him feel better and making up excuses not to babysit for a friend of his fellow Gigolo. Another is a Metro-weirdo who loves his son and claims that he will do "anything or anyone" to prove it. I laughed my a** off when he cried while saying it. Another is a self-absorbed ex-air force guy who takes himself way too seriously and is a wannabe rapper, his rhymes would make Cringe cringe. The others are kinda tolerable but still really don't get it that they are cornball punchlines. Not gay, seriously. I don't know what audience Showtime is shooting for. This show looks like a joke that everyone gets except for the Gigolos. They drive crappy cars, room with each other and have the fashion sense of a floor manager at Chess King. But they all think that they are the ish! It's Unbelievable! Unless you are a comedian, fat chick or FFB I would not recommend you watch. But if you do be warned it could change you life forever. So I ask. If afforded the opportunity would you be a Gigolo?
Back in the day, I did not sell my body to the night. Spoiler I pretty much gave it away for free.
As an aside I recently pitched a show to a production company that Showtime works with about class warfare in Black America and how each side has to adjust to perceptions from the other. I'm obviously on the wrong track.
Flame away you bastards! I knew there was risk, but it was either post this or work on my "Leave John Travolta alone!" video.
Why did you feel the need to tell us you're not gay? Didn't find anything gay about your post. Are these gigolos having sex with men on the show too?
not that it matters since you're not gay, but gigolos don't make any money if they're exclusive to women clients... and even then, it's always the fat and old ones who pays for sex
I think the common perception is that they do, but on this show they don't. I wanted to make it clear that I didn't tune in to watch gay sex.
yeah i was confused too.. because the movie deuce bigalow, male gigolo taught me that they go after women hahaha
I'm a gigolo always on the go..... <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zxVcFg2ne30" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
So you don't want us to think you're gay even though you weren't watching anything that was gay? OK. I'm watching the MLB All Star Game. I'm not gay.
