Mobley is more needed off the bench!!! Don't change a thing. ------------------ "Here's the kicker... it doesn't matter if you believe this or not because I'm sure you don't, but it already has created enough doubt and makes enough sense to make me and I'm sure anyone else wonder why in the world you would make such a narrow, closed-minded assumption that my Jesus Christ has suddenly become your cat." ***Clutch slays the religion basher known as DREAMer
I'm for leaving Shandon in the starting lineup. That said, there is a myth that Cuttino does better coming off the bench. The thinking being that he's playing against other bench players and ripping them apart. The truth is that he does most of his damage in the 4th quarter (10 points?) which, presumably, is when the other team has their best player in the game. I say leave Shandon in the game to start because of the defense he puts up against the opposing 2 guard. The last thing we need is for opponents' shooting guards to get hot early. ------------------ "We end up with Francis/Mobley isolations very often. More often, I'd say, then other teams." -- jamcracker
We might have life left in us, Rockets fans. I can see our excitement on the brinks every other game or two. How about you. Nothing has yet to come between me and my hope that they will hit a consistant level within the next couple of months or so. Forget all this 'they might have a problem' mush. As long as they keep showing that they know how to try..... I think we'll be O.K. Once they realize that all they have to do is try....we'll say 'Damb, I knew it!' At least I will. They can play some friggen ball!!(they just don't know it yet) ------------------ bigmoo
Mobley is much more effective comin' off the bench it seems. Rudy T. must find a way to play Mobley more than 30/min. That is unacceptable. 35/min minimal no acceptions. ------------------ [This message has been edited by ROCKETBOOSTER (edited December 01, 2000).]
