We got to play our best possible opponent and we lost, so no. We see what SA is doing to that mediocre Portland team.

You simply can't win in the playoffs playing streetball, with no defensive or offensive system whatsoever.

No coach=no win, it's that simple.

we all thought the Blazers were the most favorable match-up prior to the start of the series...The Rockets sadly were the worst Western conference NBA playoff team, holding the distinction of being the only team to go out in 6 games...

The Spurs wouldve swept us...(Although the games wouldve been much closer)

I guess you haven't been around for the discussions. Its been beaten to death. Stick your head in the sand and tell yourself whatever you want over and over. Bad calls? Yea. So are we the only team to on the short end of this in the NBA? The denial is comical.

Just because one team beats another doesn't mean they'll beat another one? No **** Sherlock, yes that maybe the case as it was for the 07' Mavs, but by using every excuse in the book you just build a terrible case in this instance. Portland was not a bad matchup. Just keep ignoring the fact that the rockets played some of the worst playoff defense ever to grace the court, compounded with a r****ded ass offensive philosophy which couldn't even exploit Portland's crappy D just may have been the reason we lost.

It happens all the time. The ignorant will continue on their path, so do what you must.

If the rockets didn't get bad calls...

If the rockets got a more favorable matchup...

If LMA didn't score so many points...

If Lillard hadn't hit that 3...

If our offensive scheme hadn't been exposed...

You get the picture. Its just sad that some of the fans on here have set the bar so low and don't know what to expect from a team that is supposed to be championship material in this 3 year window.
