I never said that Brand was a winner. My point was that Francis is not either. Having a decent SG in a PG body in the East doesn't really mean the Bulls would thrive. It also would kill whatever development there is with Eddy Curry.

Yes i have been following the Rox for the past 5 years and much befor that too & if i can remember right for the most part we did have winning seasons w/ Steve did we not? If i can remember right i dont think Brand has ever been on a winning team...

Unfortunately I think this is the voice of reason, at least as far as Hinrich is concerned. Chandler might be had but is not the prize, not for Steve anyway.
Remember our conversation back in December? I was hoping we could steal Hinrich way back then when everybody was chanting Crawford, Crawford, Crawford, but now I fear it is too late as you point out here. Also, the Suns now have Lampe, the other player I still covet. Drat!
