He tried to make the team a religious unit, and held services in the locker room. If that's not a red flag, I don't know what is (plus all the other vids of him screaming on the corner about the day of reckoning etc). And Harden's personal life probably fits better with Satanism, if anything
Why do some people want to credit any improvement a player (or team) makes to coaching? Are players not capable of improving (or regressing) on their own?
No, not unless he can then have Kerr and co come in after he gets fired and make us win it all, lol... Maybe Kerr can bring Curry too!
We do not need Mark Jackson coaching this team. Morey constantly bargain shops and that is why it has never worked. If we're going to bargain shop and pick up Mark Jackson because he is cheap then we might as well end our hopes. I never disliked Mchale. Is he a genious on the bench? No! But if we had surrounded Mchale with a guy like Gentry to be an Assistant or possibly a guy like Mike malone to handle the defense then I think the team would have excelled. Doc Rivers had Thibs in Boston and it clearly made him a better coach. Phil Jackson had Tex winters. Rudy T had Cd as an assistant during our glory years. Poppavich had Budenholzer and now Hammon. Mark Jackson doesn't work well with others and doesn't seem like one that would ever take Morey seriously and could coexist with a good assistant coach.
