I don't know where this started, but it seems to me that tinman is going way overboard because of a seriously dumb series of comments from this noone guy (who clearly doesn't have a firm grip on the economic reality of Houston).

I've been a fan since the late 80's. You're not telling the truth.

 

Personally, as an AOF I'm more worried about the impact of Asik leaving. Turkey has an economy of about three quarters of a trillion dollars and AOFs like me send billions of that to Houston. Lin is American, so he doesn't bring money into the economy like Asik.

Perhaps if we brought back the McGrady of Greece, it might help offset the loss of Asik a bit. Otherwise, the city can probably kiss the franchise goodbye.

 

So evidently, now when encountering stupidity in one of the forums, we are to start a new thread belittling the member....
