I understand what the lof said

People would go hungry and turn to eating their pets when Lin leaves
then a monkey named Cesar escapes from the Houston zoo and leads a revolt

Seriously...shut up. As a rockets fan I'm tired of this bull****. Don't get me wrong...Noone is saying a lotta BS and doesn't know what he's talking about but you are baiting him and at the same time making it personal, while demeaning a lotta people for no god damn reason.

You are a dbag behind a computer screen. Stop pretending to be tough...

Seriously, he isn't a LOF. Check his post history... clearly came for Casspi. Not saying there's anything wrong with that. Just saying.

I don't know where this started, but it seems to me that tinman is going way overboard because of a seriously dumb series of comments from this noone guy (who clearly doesn't have a firm grip on the economic reality of Houston).

...meh, I'm going to go watch the new episode of Game of Thrones.

So instead of keeping this discussion contained to whatever thread it originated in, you had to make a brand new thread that drew even more attention to it for the sole purpose of having an anonymous internet audience watch you belittle another anonymous internet poster? There are no winners in this thread.

You don't know tinman well enough. He has purpose in life. So much purpose. He brings joy to Rockets fans.

We don't. We hate the tidal wave of idiocy he brought with him.

And the world. So what. It's a great city. No one is dogging it, only protecting our city and state. You started an argument when you compared the two places. That's a bad idea most nights.

chimera, leave it be homie. tinman is having some fun with some pretend fans who joined a real fan site.

you got to be tough when the Houston economy gets blown up when lin leaves.

    I believe you.
However the perception that Houston is economically impacted by Lin plus this whole new york has a real economy is his opinion .

Caspi should goto new york too.

What a ridiculously unnecessary thread. For someone that's been on the board since 99, you would think you would acquire some maturity along the way.

Whoever you're rooting for where ever you live,

Saying that NY economy is real while Houston is not

Makes you an ignorant fool and it's just right you get called out for that

You're right, most people in houston make their living selling Jeremy Lin jerseys while all those people who work downtown Houston are just sheiks

Personally, as an AOF I'm more worried about the impact of Asik leaving. Turkey has an economy of about three quarters of a trillion dollars and AOFs like me send billions of that to Houston. Lin is American, so he doesn't bring money into the economy like Asik.

Perhaps if we brought back the McGrady of Greece, it might help offset the loss of Asik a bit. Otherwise, the city can probably kiss the franchise goodbye.
