    That's because you had two ball dominant wings who weren't used to playing off the ball trying to mesh. Additionally, besides Bosh the team had nobody. Folks think the Lakers 5-12 suck. Go look at the Heat's 4-12 that year. Bibby and Anthony were starting.

    LeBron would be the perfect player to play P&R with Nash, he can defend PG's and other wings (Kobe can't anymore) and he would actually get Howard and Gasol involved.

    I posted this in the GARM thread on D12, I think a Lakers / Heat trade of Howard for Bosh would make sense for both teams. Pau is lost playing at the high post shooting jumpers; with this trade he could move to his true position of center and post up. Bosh would be able to run like D'Antoni wants. In Miami, LeBron could drop down and play PF more often, where he is even more effective.

    Well, the difference is Kobe is 34 years old and Lebron is 27... When Lebron turns 34, we'll see how good he still is.

    A healthy LeBron and a healthy Dwight might be the best 2 man combo in the league if you ask me.

    Of course the Lakers situation would be better with Lebron as their primary dude. There isn't a team in the league that wouldn't say that.
